This was the tree that started my series photographs at Blenheim Palace Park.
I photographed it twice without realising I'd done so.
The first time was with the last of its leaves on in December,
and I later took it when there was snow on the ground.
It was taken from the centre of the Grand Bridge, where there is a small plinth
with a circular wall.
I think it was because of the raised place to stand that
I happened to take more or less the same photo.
They're not exactly the same. The colours and nature of the tree mean
that I point the camera slightly differently each time.
But that doesn't bother me
and I hope it won't bother you - its not a scientific exercise!
